Subject: Barrier to Stepping Stones over Duck River

Dear 

I was dismayed to return to live in Mona Street after working overseas
for a few years, to find that the Council has erected a barrier
blocking access to the stepping stones across Duck River near Mackay
Street Granville.

Many people use these stepping stones every day, and negotiate the
dangerous slope instead of the steps blocked by the council barrier.

I would really appreciate an explanation of why the council has
erected this danger to its citizens, and would like to know of
any plans the Council has to remove the barrier.
