I hope this email finds you well. I have recently come across your organisation's strong commitment to the wonderful world of cycling and I wanted to write to tell you about a fantastic opportunity that will benefit you, your riders and the 8 children every hour that suffer a serious injury each and every year.
Our charity, the Day of Difference Foundation has decided to launch the 400k Challenge for Kids cycle event, supporting our work with children suffering life threatening injuries. This challenge, conducted over 3 days, covers approximately 400km, riding through the magnificent countryside from Sydney to the famous Hunter Valley wine region and return. The training, fitness, camaraderie and new friendships that develop within this ride are extraordinary and multifaceted. The individual wins by keeping fit, building friendships and making a difference to so many children fighting for their life in our hospital system today. It also gives corporate teams the opportunity to show their own staff and the rest of the world that they care by showing their support for this worthwhile cause.
Please take a look at the flyer below with a link that will take you to the 400k Challenge for Kids website. It will lead you through the ride, the roads, the fantastic accommodation, food and services that we will provide over a 3 day weekend.
We would love to have your riders involved in this event and hope that you will forward this email to those who might be interested. It is a great opportunity to experience a spectacular ride whilst doing something that really matters for children suffering life threatening injuries.
You never know when it can happen in your own life. It did with me.
Best regards and thanks,
Executive Chairman & Founder

It's time to put your pedals to the test...
The 400K Challenge for Kids is a ride like no other and we are asking YOU, our supporters, to band together with fellow cyclists and commit to a ride that will test your courage, spirit, and mental and physical agility.
Join us for the ride of the year as we take in the beautiful Hunter Valley and help raise funds for children with life threatening injuries.

Now we want YOUR help to make this our best effort yet!
Check out our dedicated event website to find out more.
If you've not yet caught the cycling bug, why not make a difference and forward this to your colleagues, family and friends so they can read up on this exciting event.
Each year over 68,000 children are admitted to children's hospitals due to injury. That's 186 per day or 8 every hour.
The Day of Differece Foundation is dedicated to helping children with life threatening injuries and their families across Australia, by supporting them on the journey from intensive care to recovery. We offer family support, hospital resources, access to communications and accommodation, community engagement and education in the acceptance of difference.
