[CAMWEST-announce] Upcoming CAMWEST rides

Hi everyone,
Here are a few upcoming CAMWEST rides:
** Sunday April 10th - Western Sydney Sampler #1 Ride*
Distance : 16 km
Grade: Easy, no significant hills, slow paced
Start: Meet at 10am, at the bottom of pedestrian ramp, north side
of Rooty Hill Station. The ride duration should be less than 2 hours.
A slow-paced easy ride, using mainly shared paths. This route uses a
combination of suburban shared path, M7 path and the Western Sydney
Parklands Track. Note that around 1km of the Parklands track is
unsealed. No significant hills. Average speed around 10 kmph. Not
recommended for road-bikes with skinny tyres, but hybrid bikes should be
fine.

** Sunday April 17th - Pre-Riverstone Loop Ride*
Distance: Approx 55km
Grade: Medium-hard; Moderate pace, a few reasonable hills; some
traffic; short section of good-quality unsealed road.
Start: Meet at 7:30am at the cnr Pitt & Park Sts, Riverstone.
This event is held as a lead-up to the Ride 2 Riverstone
<http://ride2riverstone.com.au> event on May 1st.
We'll do the 55km loop, but hand out Cue Sheets for those who want to do
a faster (and maybe longer) ride and find their own way.
For those that want to hang around afterwards, we can meet at the Living
Planet Garden Centre Cafe <http://www.dine.net.au/livingplanet/> on the
corner of Hobart St & Windsor Rds, Riverstone for a bite to eat.
We'll start at the carpark opposite the corner of Pitt & Park Sts,
Riverstone. The start site is around 300m from Riverstone station, and
the trains are running. (A train from the city arrives at Rivo at 7.09am).
** Sunday May 1st - Ride to Riverstone Loop*
Distance: 10, 30, 55, 80 & 100 km loops
Grade: Easy - Hard, depending on distance
Start: All rides except 10km family ride starting at Riverstone.
10km family ride starting at Rouse Hill
