                                    here is some information about the Parramatta Commuter Challenge. If you work in Parramatta or know someone who does, here is a chance to encourage them to use alternatives to the motor car to reach their work destination.

Hello John,

The Parramatta Commuter Challenge is back - we'd love you to be part of it again!

In 2010, 200 employees from 10 workplaces took part. This year is set to be even bigger, so don’t miss out!

How many people can we encourage to leave their car at home for the Challenge and try a different, more sustainable commute to work?

When? 
Save the date - Monday 14 November to Sunday 4 December 2011. Can your workplace take the lead and reach the podium?
What? 
It’s your workplace competing against others to see who has the healthiest and greenest workforce by getting the highest number of staff to commute to work sustainably (i.e. not driving).
It’s based on numbers of staff taking part not trips or methods of travel, so encourage your workmates to take part too.
Why? 
It’s fun, free and everyone can get involved.
It helps people to think about their journey to work and its impact on our environment.
There are lots of fantastic individual and team prizes to be won!
