I have read and fully support the document.

Hopefully the trust will have a good look at it and respond appropriately.

We should really push for the 4 metres, as it will substantially slow down
motorists - hopefully discourage them altogether.

Well done. Thumbs up.

Scotty

Subject: [CAMWEST-discuss] Parrammatta Park CAMWEST submission

Am attaching my edit of Rob Catford's excellent submission. However, I have
tried to incorporate Danny's points (see in red text) including the idea of
putting the shared lane on the 'inside' of the loop to avoid conflict
between shared lane users and motor vehicles cutting across the shared lane
to park on the left of the roadway.

May I suggest, Rob, that you do a quick phone around to those key CAMWEST
members who have not given their 'thumbs up' by email once you have sent out
one more updated version of the submission. Perhaps by Wednesday or Thursday
we will have a pretty good consensus. Don't forget they want the submission
in hard copy, not by email.

I think it is important that we press them to set up a meeting with CAMWEST
to discuss their proposals and our submission. Maybe others won't agree with
me about this, but I'm a great believer in face-to-face dialogue on such
ambiguous issues as the Parramatta Park proposals/submissions.
