Julie and I were going to organise a ride to Olympic Park and Bicentennial park
on December 3rd.

Yes it's summer so start time would be around 7 am.

Another idea we had for Xmas is a sunset/night ride.

I will finalise tonight and ask Paul to get it on Push on before the deadline.

Thanks to whoever entered the Hills ride on the Push On website.

The deadline for the October Push On looms very close, 20th
September.  Anyone want to organise any rides by then?  Note that we
have no news on Push On, and we could, but someone who is authorised
would need to do that.

Just a quick reminder that the DEADLINE for the October edition of the magazine
edition of PushOn is SEPTEMBER 22, so get your BUGS news in to me so it can be
ALSO Bicycle NSW have arranged to take a page in each two-monthly edition of
Australian Cyclist to promote PushOn and to provide a list of BUGS CONTACT
DETAILS. This pages needs to be delivered to the printer by 20th September.
I'll be taking the details from the website information, so please check your
details and let me know asap if they need updating.
During the September, the ENHANCEMENTS have been made to the PushOn site. Check

 1. Thumbs Forum (for Bicycle NSW members ONLY). Now you can leave comments and
    discuss cycling issues online. Register here. (If you have tried and had
    difficulties, please try again. We have made some changes to the
    registration process.)
 2. Front page re-designed. Top five stories (headlines and links). High
    priority stories randomly displayed as lead story.
 3. What is a BUG? and BUG near me? pages added to Rides Filter page and BUGs
    News page.  (Are your BUG contact details up to date?)
 4. News by BUG. Where a BUG has submitted news to PushOn, a link is provided
    to a page which displays that news. If there is no news for a particular
    BUG then no link appears. (BUGS could link their own websites to their news
    page on PushOn. If you'd like to do this and need help, just ask!) So send
    in your BUG news today! (You can even MMS (mobile 0404 065 376) or email (
    pushon at shirelife.com) images from your mobile phone -- great for Thumbs Up
    and Down! section)
 5. Why not forward the monthly PushOn PDF announcement to your own mailing
    lists/friends/relatives? Drawing the attention of as many people as
    possible to www.pushon.com.au is a way of raising awareness of cycling,
    available rides and what is being done to increase participation.
