Subject: BUGs involvement for Women's breakfast workshop

Hello BUGS,

Plans for the 2007 Spring Cycle are well and truly underway and we are
very excited with the likelihood of having 10 000 riders riding across
the Harbour Bridge - traffic-free!!

In the lead up to the event, Bicycle NSW are putting on a Women's
Breakfast Workshop to entice more ladies to join us on the Spring
Cycle. "Gear Up Girl" is being held on Saturday 18 August from
8:00am-12:00pm at the WatervieW Convention Centre, Sydney Olympic
Park.

The morning will consist of a beautiful brekkie with tea, coffee, and
all sorts of yummy food - to initially get everyone mingling and
feeling comfortable. During breakfast there will be a guest speaker or
two, for motivation and learning.

Following breakfast, with the ladies' heads full of positive thoughts,
we will break into 4 smaller groups to go through a choice of
workshops. The ladies will have chosen which workshops they would
like to attend (a choice of 2 out of the 4 offered - please see
attached the workshops outlined). This is where you come in. BUGS have
the opportunity to have members lead or assist with the
workshops. What a great way to introduce your BUG to a group of newer
women riders! Currently we have Dianne Fielding (one of our wonderful
COGs from the 2007 Big Ride) leading 'Survival of the Fittest' but the
other three workshops are wide open for members who have experience
and relevant knowledge in one of the chosen workshop topics. If this
is something your BUG would be interested in, let us know! It would
also be a great way for you to see how the Breakfast Workshop works.

We are also looking at getting some eye-catching names for the
workshops so if you have any creative ideas please feel free to let me
know.

You can contact me on this email address or by phoning on 02 9218 513.

Kind regards,

Bec Gibson
