Im sick of this.
Everyone (outside of cycling - including my farther) is complaining that
they have to pay for the cycle ways.
Think of it this way, when it's your child that is hit, run down, dragged
for 30mtrs under a car, bus or truck. Dies from there injuries at the seen.
Whilst crying for you, and your not there. Will you be still be saying that
a cycleway on that road is a waist of money! ... will you?. I don't think
so.
I'm getting the shits with all these "sooks" complaining about everything.
Think if every cycle lane saves one life every year is it worth it? What
about every 5 or 10 years? I think it is cause it's not just the life it
saved it's the family of that life, the friends of that life, it is at least
30 people that will live a happy life cause of that 1.2milion dollar cycle
way. Well my sons life is worth more then that to me and anyone that is
willing to stand up and stay that cycle ways are a waste of money is saying
that my sons life if is not worth anything that he is a waist (well say it
to my face and ill "show" you my response)
These complaints are coming from people that don't care about anyone else
apart from them selves. They don't have kids, don't ride a bike, probably
earn $70k per year, drive nice cars and live in huge houses. These are the
people that annoy me, they don't have a clue about how real life goes on.
Im sorry if I have been blunt about this. I have been hit more times then I
can count by cars, trucks, busses and taxis and anything to save lives to
even save injuries I am for. I am even willing to pay a small amount for
registration each year for my bike. I pay my car redgo, taxes, insurance etc
so how are they different from me. They are different because they don't
care, they don't or cant ride. Or there just jealous that they don't look
good on a bike.?
