[CAMWEST-discuss] Alternate route around Rookwood Cemetery - closed after dusk?

Can anyone advise of a low stress route around Rookwood Cemetery when it closed from dusk to dawn? 

My brother is looking to ride from South Granville, near where Wellington Rd crosses Duck River to Barker St Strathfield for some course classes, one of which is in the evening, which means that Rookwood Cemetery gates would be shut on the return trip.
