Tuesday 8 April 2008 - Seniors Return to Cycling Day

Venue: Dairy Precinct, Parramatta Park

Time: 8am to 4.30pm

Cost: FREE

Details:
A day of instruction aimed at Seniors wishing to return to cycling by brushing up on their skills. The day will comnprise talks on Australian Road Rules, types of bikes, where to ride, clothing, bike checks and slow speed riding skills. There will be a talk by a registered physiotherapist on stretching & avoiding injury & a talk by Mr Tony McClelland on his experiences in returning to cycling beyond 60 years of age.

The day is FREE & morning & afternoon tea & lunch will be provided.?Instruction will be?carried out?by members of the NSW POlice Bicycle Squad.

Places are limited to 25 riders & bookings are essential. You will need to bring your own bike and be physically able to ride your bike. If in doubt, check with your regular doctor.
