here are the proposed plans for Box Hill redevlopment on Windsor Rd. The development plans are up for comment & you are encouraged to have a good look at the plans & make comment. The very least is to ask for dedicated cycle lanes on each of the main roads feeding into & out of the proposed development.,

The Dept of Planning & Infrastructure have just released two draft plans for Edmonson and Box Hill (see below).

The NSW Department of Planning and Infrastructure is seeking comments on two draft plans relating to housing and employment lands in westernSydney.
Feedback is invited by Wednesday 1 August 2012 on draft precinct plans for the Box Hill and Box Hill Industrial precincts, in north-west Sydney, which have been revised to reflect landowner and resident feedback.The precincts will have capacity for some 9,540 homes, 128 hectares of employment land and 58 hectares of open space. Meanwhile, the public is being given until Friday 3 August 2012 to comment on draftplans for Edmondson Park South, in south-western Sydney. The draft plans would establish comprehensive development standards to provide a diversity of housing options and seek to improve affordability by reducing the minimum lot size for housesand semi-detached dwellings on the site.
