Fellow CAMWESTies,
this is where we got our inspiration and start up for BVP. An opportunity to visit some of these events in the city & interact with other cycling advocates. Contact David Borella direct if you are interested in any of these events.

Spring is here
...and that means more Bike Valet Parking events where we show off to the world just how many people are riding! October is BVP's biggest month thanks to the Sydney Rides Festival which has Sydney bursting with riders. It's a really rewarding time to get involved. BVP is a hoot. It's a great way to socialise with riders and a simple, fun way to create change for just an hour or two of your time. Why not volunteer?

Tue 7 Oct: GreenUps - Very Bike-E! (80 George St, Redfern)
October GreenUps will explore e-Bikes. There'll be talks, e-Bikes to test ride, and of course, BVP. All free! Email us to help out, even if just before you head into the event.
Sun 19 Oct: Sydney Rides the City (Pirrama Park)
Email us to help out at this signature Sunday morning "Harbour Bridge Ride" event. Just SO many smiles. It's inspiring.
Wed 22 Oct: 'Walk 21' City Conversation (Lower Town Hall)
Making friends with pedestrians :-). We'll be valet parking "friendly bikes" out front of a conference about walking. Get in touch if you can help bring the BVP smile.
Sat 25 Oct: Sydney Rides the Night (Lady Mac's Chair)
Email to hang in the midst of a night-bike-light show on a cruisy ride with famous harbour views. We're aiming to valet park a record number of bikes. This'll be a spectacular event.
BIKESydney Communications
Our eNews goes to the whole subscriber list, over 500 keen riders. Anything you want to share with them? Drop us a line.

Want to be part of a group of Communications helpers, that sets its own way to work and allows for 'drop in and out' ways to be involved?' We'll cover the cost of this year's FWD Online Campaigning Conference for someone wanting to take on a Comms role with BIKESydney.
Let us know.
