It is Gear Up Girl time of year again! That means it is time to Love Your Ride and Love Your Volunteering!
This year The Heart Foundation is on board again giving us even more reason to get involved through volunteering.
The Heart Foundation Gear Up Girl will roll from Sydney Olympic Park to Cronulla on Sunday 13th March with three wonderful ride options of a 60km, 40km and 20km rides. For more information about the ride and event please head to www.gearupgirl.com.au
To make this event possible for the ladies we are calling out for volunteer Route Marshals!

Volunteers are the lifeblood of Bicycle NSW and events like the Heart Foundation Gear Up Girl.
To make this ride safe and fun, we need you as a route marshal!
Sector E- Arncliffe Station
Sector F- Rockdale Train Station
Sector G- Caringbah Train Station – Close to finish line!
Sector H- Woolooware Train Station – Close to finish line!
Sector I- Woolooware Train Station Close to finish line!
Sector J- Woolooware Train Station Close to finish line!
Surrounded by the most breathtaking views in Sydney, you will cheer on riders and make sure they are safe and happy. We can guarantee you will have a good time!

Join the Signage Crew!
We are looking for small teams of volunteers to head out along sections of the route to be part of the Signage Crew. It's a great opportunity to get involved with different aspects of the event and to explore the route!
Pre event signage- Saturday 12th
(BYO bike, you receive free entry to Gear Up Girl on 13th March) - Sign up here
Signage Sweep - during event- Sunday 13th - follow the last riders and help us take down the signage between Olympic Park and Cahill Park - BYO bike - Sign up here
Community Consult Signage
Are you available this week? We need some help putting up small A4 signs along the route that advise people that the event is taking place. If you want to have a sneak peak of the route, CONTACT US - flexible timing, BYO bike is not essential but will be beneficial.
Signage Removal- do you have a drivers license and want to assist to take down any remaining signage from the parts of the route best reaches by car. CONTACT US - Flexible time on Monday 14th March.

Do you know how to fix/ change a tube?
We are looking for Ride Crew to assist the riders along the route - BYO bike and tools and enjoy the beautiful ride in between repairs
