G'day David and Alex,
While this video clip is an add, the data presented is accurate and well worth the few minutes it takes..
Australia is dependent on currently importing over 80% of its liquid fuel needs and growing at over 3% per year (AERA 2010).
The impact of increasing global shortages of liquid fuels as of 2012 will have quite devastating impacts on both individuals and the economy.
Alternatives need to be rapidly put in place.
