Western Sydney Infrastructure Plan
WEDNESDAY 22 July, 8-9.30am

Media Room, Roads and Maritime Services, Level 9, 101 Miller St, North Sydney
Registrations close on Friday for our July breakfast and we hope to see many of you there for this special opportunity to gain important insight into the Western Sydney Infrastructure Plan (WSIP).

The Australian and New South Wales governments are investing more than $3.6 billion through the WSIP over the next 10 years as part of their plan to build a stronger and more prosperous Western Sydney. The Plan is a network of new and upgraded road infrastructure designed to transform the region’s economy and make it an even better place to live and do business.
WSIP will ensure Sydney and NSW capitalise on economic benefits from the proposed western Sydney airport at Badgerys Creek and will also work alongside other government investments including transport improvements, growth centre land releases and employment area development to unlock regional potential. This plan will help manage future travel demand, will help ease congestion, reduce travel times, make roads safer, increase pedestrian and cyclist facilities and create an average 4000 direct and indirect jobs over 10 years.
Dr Kevin Doherty will present an overview of the Western Sydney Infrastructure Plan and will provide an update on progress to date. This is an excellent opportunity to our members to keep up to date with the latest transport policies and plans for the Sydney’s transport future.
